ACCOUNTING AUDITS

Our organization conducts statutory and voluntary audits to provide opinions on financial statements, whether annual or interim, prepared in accordance with the relevant accounting standards (OIC, IFRS, US GAAP, etc.), and based on procedures conducted in line with International Auditing Standards (ISA). Full audits include a review of business processes and existing control procedures. Alongside statutory and voluntary audit services, REVICOM offers services in: pro forma financial statement reviews; fairness opinions as required by law; review of group reporting packages; support for the board of statutory auditors; audits related to transitioning to International Financial Reporting Standards and US GAAP; financial covenants certifications.

It represents the support activity offered in the context of acquisition operations, joint ventures and strategic alliances. The due diligence activity gives buyers, sellers and any other interested parties relevant information about the “business risk” associated with the specific operation, as well as a whole series of other data, of a financial and non-financial nature, as requested by the parties.

Specific interventions with the aim of carrying out a preliminary analysis on the Company’s internal control system, on the application of the reference accounting principles and on all other information useful for identifying possible problems, before starting a complete audit.

The extent of the audit work to be carried out will fundamentally depend on the objective required by the client’s instructions, in all those cases where the auditors are not required to apply all the audit procedures that a complete audit entails. Consequently, the auditor’s report will indicate the results of the work carried out without giving any opinion on the financial statements.
